Judah S. Goldman is a New York City-based multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter. A classically-trained musician, composer, arranger and performer, he works in a multitude of settings including bars, nightclubs, weddings, festivals, senior facilities, private events, and more. Judah is best known as the frontman and co-founder of the NYC-based Alternative Rock band, Dr. Ted and The Stone, as well as his work as part of the musical worship team and ensemble at Kehillat Romemu.

Judah earned his Bachelor's of Arts in Music Theory and Composition from Muhlenberg College, studying under the auspices of Dr. Ted Conner and Dr. Douglas Ovens in the fields of Jazz, Classical, Early/Medieval, Avant-Garde, and Contemporary Music. He is proficient in cello, bass, guitar, piano, ukulele, mandolin, viola de gamba, organ, and harmonica.

Judah started his career as a performer at Muhlenberg College, playing in a variety of bands and ensembles, including The Muhlenberg Blues Ensemble, Collegium Musicum and Jazz Improv ensembles. He gigged at weddings and private events, developing a robust career as a performer at senior facilities in the greater D.C. area immediately after graduation in 2017.
Among the many and far-ranging musical styles that inspire him Judah has been greatly influenced by the works of Bob Dylan, Paul Simon, James Taylor, David Gilmour, Leonard Cohen, Gram Parsons, Tom Waits, Jim Croce, and Tom Petty. In addition to the contemporary greats, Judah has always had a deep passion for early blues and country music, including The Carter Family, Robert Johnson, Lead Belly, Woody Guthrie, and many artists of the Great American Songbook.

Judah brings a rare warmth, competence, and intimacy to his performances with a mix of original music and cover material to suit any and all venues.
